Jan Boelen
Jan Boelen (born 1967, Genk, Belgium) is a curator of design, architecture and contemporary art (e.g. initiator of Manifesta 9). He studied product design at the Media & Design Academy in Genk and is founder and artistic director of (Z33 – house for contemporary art ) in Hasselt (BE). Furthermore, Boelen is head of the Master program for Social Design and the Master program Design Curating and Writing at the (Design Academy Eindhoven ) (NL) and member of the Flemish Committee for Architecture and Design. Currently he is working on the founding of a European Design Parliament as a driving force for change, and he is curating (BIO 50 ) in Ljubjlana (SI), the oldest design biennial in the world. ==References==
